I wish to enrol in Famagusta District Sailing Club “Begafigo”, and by submitting this form I do hereby acknowledge that I have read and understood the following rules and regulations of the sailing club, also available in www.begafigo.com. ''Begafigo'' is a duly registered Club in accordance with The Societies and Institution Law, N. 57/1972, as amended, with Registration No.2677, & KOA Registration No. 615

I do hereby acknowledge that I enter the club's activities at my own risk and do hereby release and hold harmless the Famagusta District Sailing Club ''Begafigo'' as well as its officers, members and employees, both jointly and severally from any liability or loss, injury or damage.
Ι state that I or/and my child–family are healthy and do not have any disabilities that could prevent the ability to practice sailing.
I do hereby acknowledge that Famagusta District Sailing Club ''Begafigo'' will not be held responsible for any injury or damage that might occur to persons and property either on shore or at sea as a consequence of participating in any way in sailing programmes and any racing entered into.
As a parent I understand that my decision to allow to my child to be engaged in the club’s sailing activities, is my responsibility and under my consent.
I sail at my own risk at all times and I understand that the club has no obligation to monitor me.
I do hereby acknowledge that sailing is a potentially dangerous sport and I agree to follow all safety rules and regulations and/or precautions as set out by the Club's regulations and/or governing bodies.
I will wear suitable to my weight, personal buoyancy aid at all times when sailing.
I understand that the club has no Rescue Boat but only Safety R.I.B which is available only during regattas or club racing. Safety drivers and crew attempt to recover people not boats, giving priority to children. Safety R.I.B is used only by licensed drivers appointed by the club’s committee, and in any case they will be considered as capable safety personnel.
Recoveries made by the Safety R.I.B (if available) during non- event days, will take place after the consent of the boat owner and will be charged accordingly.
I accept and I agree to keep the Duty Roster as assigned by the Committee. Arrangements for changes should be made in advance directly between the members.
I respect the club’s facilities, environment and equipment. I wash and return all items to their original place i.e. water hose, trolleys, boxes, tools, ropes, anchors etc.
Guests are limited to 3 visits. Then they are expected to apply for membership.
Fees Settlement:
1. My annual fees should be paid to the club’s treasurer at the Annual General Meeting or by standing order in the club’s account, from January to March the latest. “Begafigo” Account number: Bank of Cyprus 0113-01-056887. When settled by standing order it is my duty to notify the committee.
2. The Club’s Committee has the right not to accept any membership (initial and/or renewal) without the obligation to give any reason
3. Family Membership includes children over the age of 18 (eighteen) and up to the age of full time education. After that they are expected to apply for Individual Membership.
