Offshore Racing
Offshore Racing is governed by the ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) 2009 – 2012 and the Rules and Regulations 2012 as defined by the Cyprus Sailing Federation. The Rating System is based on the Offshore Racing Congress ORC and the International Measuring System IMS. All sail yachts are privately owned and club members are privileged to have crewing opportunities available, provided that they are holders of the Cyprus Sports Organization Health ID (ASYA), and agree to the regulation of Seasonal Offshore Crew Registration. In addition, the sailor's registration with CYSAF registry by filling the  CYSAF Registration Form.

The only offshore event that requires sailors to be ASYA holders is the CYSAF National Championship
which is  developed in four (4) legs, of which Begafigo organizes  the "Larnaca - Cape Greco - Larnaca"   .

The other Begafigo major offshore events are the following:

1. "Yacht Try Sail" (Yacht owners give sailing opportunities to everybody)

2. "Kition Race" (A day race in Larnaca bay)

3. "Larnaca - Cape Greco - Larnaca" Offshore Race (ASYA is mandatory only for CYSAF Registered Sailors)

4. "Cyprus to Israel Race" (Organised by Begafigo & Israel Yacht Club) (early October)

 'Begafigo'' is a duly registered Club in accordance with The Societies and Institution Law, N. 57/1972, as amended, with Registration No.2677, & KOA Registration No. 615
