Spring Series 2013 Races 1 - 2

Yoh Racers....

Now we have all patiently waited for the racing to start and somewhat late it has....and not only that 3 intrepid optimist sailors got out on the water before the racing. Under the malevolent eye of "Black John" the ice was well and truly broken, optimists tacking back and forth off the club, in fact he was in such a good mood that he volunteered to become OOD and there it was racing as well, its what Saturdays are for!!!!

Now the course was primitive - downwind finish and just to the wreck mark and back but the racers were out and we were off 4 lasers and the two Hobie Tigers with Antonis flying solo....Now if there was a god and he was not sleeping that day it would have been a touch windier and there would have been a few more boats on the water but thank you in whatever form you prefer the racing calendar has started....
