TOPIC: International Dragon at Blue Line boatyard

We have been asked by the Limassol owner of an International Dragon that is kept in Paphos, to repair and restore the yacht to good condition, and to fit roller reefing, preferably to both sails.
We will need to first get the boat watertight, and then sail her in sea trials to establish what work needs doing, what basic modifications will be required, and then discuss our conclusions with the owner and the firms chosen to manufacture and fit the roller reefing.
We will need help and advice from local sialors with experience of the Dragon, in rigging this thoroughbred racing yacht, sailing the sea trials, and deciding what sort of roller reefing will be feasible.

The yacht was built in the late 30s/early 40s in Sweden, and is currently unmodified.

Hi Andrew,
There is this Sailing school in Nicosia called "PASIMIS" and they have an International Dragon Class
Boat sitting in their yard as well. Maybe they know some valuable information.
We never used this class in our club.
